This is a cake I made for a baby shower. I am assuming that the mom-to-be is a major Alabama fan. ;0) This was my first attempt at houndstooth - which is VERY difficult to recreate in icing! It would be easier in fondant, but I am not a huge fan of fondant taste, so I try to do as much as I can with icing. They got the point, anyway, and I even got another order for a houndstooth cake from this shower!

The Bama Baby Rattle Cake
This is a cake I made for a baby shower. I am assuming that the mom-to-be is a major Alabama fan. ;0) This was my first attempt at houndstooth - which is VERY difficult to recreate in icing!
